Universal Charity

Terms

Terms and conditions.

These MVP terms explain the intended platform rules. They should be reviewed and adapted by counsel before production launch.

Platform purpose

Universal Charity provides tools for transparent giving, verified beneficiary requests, guest sponsorship, and internal vault support.

The platform may update features, eligibility rules, review standards, and operational processes as the MVP matures.

Accounts and responsibilities

Users are responsible for providing accurate registration, beneficiary, sponsorship, and verification information.

The platform may restrict, suspend, or block accounts involved in fraud, abuse, repeated rejected submissions, or activity that creates safety or compliance risk.

Giving and fees

The platform fee is additive at external money entry. It is not deducted from the beneficiary destination amount.

Wallet top-up credits clean wallet value after the fee has already been handled. Wallet-funded Direct Giving, vault funding, and sponsorship should not be charged a second platform fee.

Direct gateway flows may include the platform fee at checkout because they bypass an already-funded wallet.

KYC and verification

KYC thresholds are based on destination amounts rather than total donor cost including platform fee.

Beneficiary submissions, vault claims, account restrictions, and larger transaction flows may require verification before access is granted.
